Enchanted is one of my all-time favourite movies; it begins in an animated fairytale world, with a princess and her prince, but after being pushed into a well - by the prince’s evil stepmother - the princess finds herself in the real, non-animated world. Following her entrance, the prince jumps into the well in an attempt to find her and marry her. With only knowledge from her fairytale world, princess Giselle has difficulties with fitting in, and soon runs into Robert Philip, a lawyer who believes that Giselle is delusional. With a kind and open heart, he offers her a place to stay and brings her home. Soon after, he realizes that she is not delusional, and really is a princess from another world. From there on out, the characters go through major changes, and couples begin to form. This is truly one of the most magical films that I have ever seen, and from the year that it was released, up until this day, I continue to watch it with utter joy. Enchanted is a 100/10 rating from my behalf, and I recommend that everyone watches it at least once in their lifetime. 5/5 stars @roselilly04 of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board I very much enjoyed watching Enchanted! I thought it was interesting, funny, and very creative! Giselle is a very likeable character, and will make you eager to see her adventure! I thought that the plot was unique, and very engaging. I liked the fairytale meets real world twist, and thought it was cool how the movie went from animation to live-action! The music is also very catchy, and adds a lot of energy to the movie! I would definitely recommend this movie to other viewers, as I think that it is a film that people of all ages can enjoy! It is funny, clever, and very entertaining! 4/5 @PenelopeScriptor of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board Enchanted was a great and hilarious movie that is great for families anytime. This movie is about a princess set in cartoon time that travels her way back into New York City living with real humans. She needs to become used to reality and so she bumps into this man who ends up taking her into his house in order to support her. He believes that she is not the brightest tool in the shed and she's completely naïve to the world around her. Eventually he discovers that she is from a cartoonland and she got to New York City by the means of magic. I enjoyed this movie because it was funny and it was serious at the same time! It was cool to see how the princess got back to her own village but it was also nerve-wracking at times because you didn't know what was going to happen next. I would rate this movie a 4/5. @Montgomery of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
