This is the second book in the GhostWalker series. When Dahlia LeBlanc was a little girl, she was experimented on along with other with unique abilities. Someone is now trying to kill her. Nicolas Trevane, a GhostWalker himself, helps to save her. But sparks are flying between them as they are drawn to each other. Nicolas knows that someone is a traitor and has given away Dahlia's safe places. He will do anything to protect her. At first I had a hard time getting into the story, but after a couple of chapters, it all started to come together. I did enjoy this book very much and am looking forward to the next book in this series.

Very good, dense book. Christine Feehan gives a lot for the money. Different men and women. Very unique. Hot and personal.
