I personally found this book to be an interesting read. It was detailed, and had made me able to picture what was going on myself. A few times I did believe the details of the more gory parts were a little extreme, though it was easy to get over and fit with the idea of the story well. I enjoyed the fact that not all of the book was suspense and/or horror, but included some comedy, something to laugh about. To make the characters act like people of their age. I did believe that the whole idea of the story seemed unlikely for things to happen as they did. (An 8 year old going from scared to in charge of people twice her age) but it was enjoyable none the less. The beginning and ending both caught my interest. They were both equally well done. As well as the setting, so it had a smaller general area and could understand from their small town point of view. I feel that many people who might like adventurous stories would enjoy this particular one, or someone who likes the whole "world ending" scenarios.
