Raab's first and best book of poems. The title does not lie: these poems are mysterious in the best sense. Often the subject is a photograph or work of art, as Giacometti's "The Palace at 4 a. m." Fortunate , well-digested influence by Surrealist poetics and by Wallace Stevens. Recommended.
