Average Rating: 3.5 stars out of 5.
Told entirely with images, this is the story of Glory, a piano prodigy. Brilliant and lonely, Glory falls in love with Frank, who moves in next door, and is soon unable to play anything but the song "Chopsticks."

I don't think some of you fully grasp what's going on. Look up the Chopsticks ending when you are finished, and you may learn what actually happened (and what didn't).

It was beautiful to read a book full of ephemera and have it tell a story. The story seemed a bit contrived, like it's only purpose may have been its own cleverness, but I fell for it anyway.

I really enjoyed this book! It felt like I was peeking through someone's scrapbook of a relationship. I am sure that the more time you spend perusing the book the more you will see in the artifacts.

A teenage piano prodigy disappears. This covers the story of the past eighteen months before her disappearance, including her deteriorating mental condition, in order to solve the mystery. It isn’t told in prose, but rather in a scrapbook of artifacts, newspaper clippings and brief snatches of conversations. A different experience. A simple and not terribly complex story, but beautifully told. I’m not quite sure I liked the ending, though.

Beautiful, beautiful, book. Unlike anything that has been given, written or made in graphic novel form. It is a book that deserves several readings as the story is rather subtle, drawing you in and giving you clues as to what is happening. I found myself emotionally drawn in reading this story wound tightly upon their story and misgivings while finding myself emotionally moved. I hope more graphic novels will push the envelope as this one has done. This is a modern Eisner in the making.

This book was very interesting, I'll admit I was a bit confused but it was good none-of-the less

The story and images of the book were stunning! I felt so guilty that I had finished it in just two hours, when I'd seen how much work had gone into it. Very quick, poetic, and artistic.

This was one of the most creatively written books I have experienced in months. Something like this was a long time coming and should be reviewed often for this generations place in the reading world. Well thought out, well put together and the characters were very likeable.
